Description
Aurigo is looking to hire a Sales Director (EMEA) with a proven track record of
selling large dollar enterprise software solutions to the state and local government
market place with a focus on the architecture, engineering and construction industries.
In this role, you will be responsible for sales of Aurigo’s software products and
services within the Middle East and Africa regions. Based on each individual situation
you will sell direct, through systems integrators or through the channel.
You must have the ability to understand the business requirements and IT automation
needs of public works agencies (state and local), Power Plant companies, Infrastructure
Owners and large engineering / construction management firms by interacting with
C level executives and IT staff at these organizations. You will work with the sales
engineering and product management teams to map the customer needs to Aurigo solutions.
You will be provided leads from inside sales teams present at Aurigo and our go
to market business partners. You will also need to generate your own leads through
industry contacts, tradeshows, conferences, etc.
You will nurture these leads, qualify them to a prospect stage and move them steadfastly
into proposal negotiation and deal closure. You will be provided presales and engineering
support wherever needed.
Requirements
- Communications Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills are an absolute must.
- Work Experience: 6-10 years experience selling enterprise software systems, project
management systems and preferably ERP solutions from companies such as Oracle, JD
Edwards, SAP and Microsoft. We are not looking for people who have made frequent
job changes.
- Construction Industry Experience: Experience selling IT solutions to the state and
local government agencies is a must. Exposure to solutions for the Infrastructure
/ Construction / Real Estate industries is highly desirable but not required.
- Strong understanding of the sales process in the MEA / GCC regions with a proven
track record of selling large dollar software into this geography for at least 2
years.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration .

Your compensation will comprise base, performance and ESOP components. It will be
in the top 20% of the Industry. You will carry an annual sales quota and directly
report into the CEO.
