Aurigo Software Technologies Inc., a leading provider of innovative technology products

the completion of the second leg of its Series A round of funding from Ravi Gulati
a private investor and technology industry veteran. Concurrent with the funding,
Ravi will join Aurigo’s Board of Directors alongside Series A first leg investors
Sunil Nanda and Sridhar Manthani.
Balaji Sreenivasan, Aurigo’s Chief Executive Officer, said "Proceeds
from the latest funding round will allow the company to double the size of its work
force to approximately 50 employees by the end of the year. The proceeds will be
used to increase research and development spend, recruit more strategic partners,
and significantly step up marketing and sales efforts. This is an exciting phase
for the company and we have been fortunate in being able to attract a person of
Ravi's caliber onto our board. Ravi brings a wide range of skills to the table,
which will continue to facilitate Aurigo’s growth and further round out its

in successful companies like Honeywell International, Nortel Networks, Lucent and
Siemens to name a few.
Ravi founded StonyBrook software and grew it to be a successful company that was

Manger of its network software operations business. Ascend was subsequently acquired
by Lucent in 1999. Ravi served as President of Lucent's Network Software operations
