Oracle's Primavera P6
Oracle's Primavera P6 Professional Project Management is designed to handle large-scale, highly sophisticated and multifaceted projects. It can be used to organize projects up to 100,000 activities, and it provides unlimited resources and an unlimited number of target plans.
The challenge in using a standalone scheduling application is that there is a need to constantly update the baseline schedule with consumption of resources, material and labor on the site and update the progress of the project. In addition as change occurs in the contract management system schedules need to be updated. A lack of integration between contract administration and scheduling processes invalidates the baseline schedule and creates additional work.
To Address this problem Aurigo BRIX supports connectors to Oracle's Primavera P6. The connector allows for two-way synchronization between the two applications.
Key Features:
- Contract Items (BOQs) and Work Break down structures are synchronized between the systems.
- Activities in Primavera are scheduled and base-lined.
- Schedule Dates are synchronized between the two systems.
- Approved work progress captured in BRIX automatically updates the schedule.
- Approved Change Orders are automatically synchronized with Primavera.
