who work collectively to steer the company's business roadmap.
Ravi Gulati, Director & Chairman of the Board
Ravi Gulati joined the board of Aurigo Software Technologies as Director in December
2005, as part of Aurigo's Series A2 round of funding. He is a technology industry
veteran with extensive senior management experience in successful companies like
Honeywell International, Nortel Networks, Lucent and Siemens to name a few. Ravi
founded StonyBrook Software and nurtured it into a successful company that was acquired
by Ascend Communications, in 1996 and took over as General Manager of Network Software
Operations business at Ascend. Ascend was subsequently acquired by Lucent in 1999.
Ravi served as President of Lucent's Network Software operations, and helped set
up Lucent's operations in India. Ravi brings to the table his exemplary experience
in all facets of running a business, combined with tremendous strengths in marketing,
finance, operations and corporate strategy.
Sridhar Manthani, Director & Chairman, Compensation Committee
Sridhar Manthani joined the board of Aurigo Software Technologies as Director in
March 2004, as part of Aurigo's Series A round of funding. Sridhar brings with him
over 18 years of experience in designing and marketing software solutions based
on Mobile Graphics, CPUs and Multiprocessing technology, and holds a US Patent.
Sridhar co-founded Thinkit Technologies Inc; an entity that was acquired by Intel
Corporation in 2000. Prior to this, he held senior executive positions and had worked
in the capacity of Software Marketing Head at Intel, Vice President Engineering
at S3 and Manager, Mobile Graphics for Western Digital. Sridhar received his Bachelor's
degree in Engineering from IT BHU, Varanasi (India) and his Masters from the University
of Iowa.
Balaji Sreenivasan, Director & CEO
Balaji Sreenivasan is the Founder and CEO of Aurigo. Balaji co-founded Aurigo
in the year 2003 and has played a key role in developing and growing Aurigo's business
and global market share. Having successfully closed Aurigo's Series A round of funding,
Balaji invests valuable time in building strategic relationships with customers,
partners and resellers across the world to continually increase the product's market
share and enter new geographies and markets. Balaji completed his Bachelor's degree
in Engineering from NIT Trichy (India) and Masters at the University of Florida,
Gainesville. Balaji is a member of the TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) - Bangalore
chapter.
Sheila Gulati, Director, Corporate Strategy
Sheila Gulati is the Founder and Managing Partner of Tola Capital, a private-equity firm dedicated
exclusively to pursuing the acquisition of Enterprise Information Technology-focused
software companies. Sheila is a second-generation software entrepreneur who grew
up inside her family's software company in New York. She was most recently a General
Manager at Microsoft Corporation within the Server and Tools division. She oversaw
the business strategy and marketing for databases and developer tools, as well as
the company's Enterprise IT strategy and offerings, responsible for almost $5 billion
of Microsoft revenue. Sheila began her Microsoft career in 1999 in the Corporate
Development and Strategy team, where she was a part of the group that managed the
company's strategic equity portfolio - driving acquisitions, investments and joint
ventures. Prior to Microsoft, Sheila was an investment banker for Robertson Stephens,
where she closely partnered with her clients to drive financing and growth strategies.
