Company Overview
Aurigo is a leading software product company incorporated in 2003. Aurigo provides products and solutions that automate land management, project estimation, contract management and facility management processes for the Infrastructure, construction and real estate verticals the world over. Aurigo's product Aurigo® BRIX 5.1 is an industry bolt-on for Microsoft's powerful ERP solution Microsoft Dynamics™ AX making the combined solution an accelerated and comprehensive business automation solution for all the different stakeholders in this industry segment. Aurigo's customers include infrastructure owners, state and local government agencies, construction management firms, PMC firms, real estate firms and general contractors worldwide.
Aurigo was nominated as one of the most innovative companies by Microsoft in 2006, and is also a Red Herring 100 finalist. Aurigo is a privately held US company incorporated in Delaware with offices in New York and Bangalore, India. Aurigo, founded by Balaji Sreenivasan and Deepak Pulipati completed its Series A round of funding in December 2005 from a closed group of seasoned technology entrepreneurs turned Investors comprising Sridhar Manthani, Sunil Nanda and Ravi Gulati.
Market Opportunity
Aurigo's product suite not only does all of this using web 2.0 technologies but also seamlessly integrates with Microsoft project Server to facilitate seamless project planning and also with Microsoft Dynamics AX to extend the construction business automation process to other organizational areas like Financials, Marketing, Human resources, Trade & Logistics and Inventory management, all on a single unified platform.
Fast paced economies in Asia (including India and China) and the gulf countries are also spending an enormous amount of money on infrastructure and housing. Aurigo's solutions that are time tested in the US are now getting adopted in these regions and seeing increased acceptance signaling a global market place for Aurigo's products and solutions in this industry segment. With the right investments having been made early on to enter this segment and partnerships with the best eco system players both on the technology front and on the domain side, Aurigo believes it is in the right place to take on this 10 billion dollar technology market for the AEC vertical.
Microsoft Relationship
Aurigo has established a strategic co-development and G2M relationship with Microsoft whereby it offers complete end to end solutions for the construction industry. Aurigo offers readily available connectors between its product suite Aurigo BRIX 5.1 and Microsoft's flagship ERP product Dynamics AX that allows for seamless data transfer between the two products. The connectors extend Aurigo's powerful construction management suite to the entire breath of Microsoft's ERP suite. Aurigo offers its solutions both direct and through its various channels that form part of the Microsoft business Solution network.
