Aurigo’s Quantity Takeoff offering lets users work on, manage and share scanned or CAD blueprints, thus generating estimates and take-offs. Users can import plans created as TIF, PDF, DXF, DWG, PLN and JPG files, among others. The software does not require the use of a digitizer device.

With Quantity Takeoff, users can calculate square and lineal footage, pitch and angles in seconds by clicking on the screen. Users can then export their Quantity Takeoff data to an Excel spreadsheet with the click of a button. The takeoff software also allows users to quickly calculate the cost of labor and materials using customizable assemblies and material lists with Quantity Takeoff’s built-in Excel-like formulas.

The latest version now includes Live Excel integration; this enables users to utilize spreadsheets that they may already have to create new automated templates. Integration with Excel also simplifies report production and reduces users' needs for technical support and training.

Quantity Takeoff also lets construction professionals use object, linking and embedding (OLE) for budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, consolidation and modeling.
