Tampa Bay Water is the largest wholesale drinking water supplier in the southeastern United States, delivering water at an average rate of 171 million gallons per day across a 2,000-square-mile service area. Problem at scale
Tampa Bay Water's project, program, and contracts data resided in a homegrown solution and many dispersed, nonintegrated systems including MS Office, SharePoint, InfoPath, Project, Office 365, and homegrown reporting tools. Relying on multiple systems caused staff to duplicate effort and left them prone to errors when entering and tracking project data. The agency was unable to view financial forecasts, and without a single source of truth, management decisions were being made on fragmented, incomplete, or outdated information
Aurigo's approach
Following an RFP process, Tampa Bay Water selected and implemented six Masterworks products to streamline its end-to-end capital improvement program lifecycle. Aurigo replaced the collection of legacy and homegrown systems with a unified cloud-based platform.
A key objective was overhauling the reporting system. Aurigo's Document Management module was deployed over the cloud, giving users access to hundreds of standard reports configurable to any level of detail, from dashboard overviews to granular drill-downs, both out-of-the-box and ad-hoc.
