Our Story

Aurigo is an American technology company founded in 2003 with a mission to help public sector agencies and facility owners plan, deliver and maintain their capital projects and assets safely and efficiently. After helping customers across North America use our software to solve their planning and portfolio management needs for nearly 10 years, we expanded our product suite to manage the full construction lifecycle including critical processes related to safety, quality, maintenance and business operations. Our award-winning Aurigo Masterworks Cloud software is now the industry-leading solution for both public and private agencies funding and maintaining large capital, infrastructure and facilities investments. We are a privately held U.S. corporation proudly headquartered in Austin, Texas, with software development and support centers in Canada and India.

Aurigo (OR-e-go)

Just like Worcester and Kissimmee, our company name tends to get mispronounced on the first read. Aurigo is pronounced OR-e-go. Put a big emphasis on the ‘OR’ at the beginning and let the rest flow lightly from there.

Our name is derived from Auriga, a constellation that lies in the Northern Hemisphere and means “the charioteer” in Latin. In Greek mythology, Auriga is usually depicted as a charioteer, holding the reins of a chariot with his right hand while carrying a goat and his two young kids on his left arm, always moving forward. With a play on the word GO in Aurigo we have taken this idea of movement, acceleration, progression, innovation and advancement, and extended it into our name, methodology and company spirit.
