Vice President, Industry Group

Michael Tooley is Vice President of Aurigo’s Industry Strategy Group, where he works with transportation agencies and public sector leaders on infrastructure strategy, capital program delivery, and technology modernization initiatives. With more than 35 years of public service and transportation leadership experience, he brings deep expertise in roads, highways, public safety, and large-scale infrastructure operations. Before joining Aurigo, Michael served as Director of the Montana Department of Transportation and chaired the AASHTO Committee on Safety. He also served as Chief of the Montana Highway Patrol and as a Colonel in the U.S. Naval Reserve. At Aurigo, he helps agencies navigate evolving infrastructure challenges and maximize opportunities created through major federal investment programs, including the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).
