Utah DOT selects Aurigo Masterworks Capital Program and Project Management Software in Multi-Year Deal to Upgrade its Entire Legacy Construction Management System

January 1, 2015

January 1, 2015Aurigo Software is pleased to announce that the Utah Department of Transportation (Utah DOT) has selected Aurigo Masterworks as its new Construction Project Controls software that will be deployed over the cloud.

As per a notification by the State of Utah, Aurigo Masterworks will replace all of their legacy programs for construction management. Utah DOT also stated that it has identified six major areas of expected improvements by using Masterworks and projects annual savings of between $9.5 to $19 million. In the demonstration phase of a detailed evaluation, Aurigo Software scored significantly more on all counts than other competitors.

It is no secret that the US transportation infrastructure is falling apart and in need of large investments. However, while everyone talks about it, the technology used by most transportation organizations is aging and long past its obsolescence. The savings that modern, state-of-the-art technology can bring in reducing cost of project delivery are very significant.

“State DOTs across the United States are looking to improve and replace their legacy systems that are being used to plan and deliver billions of dollars worth of capital infrastructure. We are delighted to partner with a leading state like Utah to drive this change,” said Balaji Sreenivasan, CEO, Aurigo Software, Inc.
